This set of intimate vocal-piano jazz was recorded in front of a live audience in June 2020 in the piano workshop of Claudia Sohnemann. It features known jazz standards like "The Days Of Wine And Roses" or "You Go To My Head" as well as less known pieces like "The Summer Knows" written by Michel Legrand and the pianists original composition "Midnight Gaze". The duo Kravchenko/Roever plays with deep respect towards the jazz tradition while always searching for new paths of honest expression. Especially the organic way of interaction and organisation of formal structure is remarkable. The piano is a Steinway D-274 beautifully restored by Claudia Sohnemann.
